„Building Peace & Local Capacities in the Niger Delta”
APDF Chairs USAID/RTI supported RNGG
The imperative to entrench and consolidate democratic good governance and Peace in Nigeria cannot be over emphasized. The tragic poverty and social political conflict in Nigeria, and in the Niger Delta is a result of the failure of governance and poor service delivery. This is even worse at the local government level. APDF is currently the convener and head of the Right Path Network for Good Governance (RNGG); which is a coalition of Civil Society Organizations/NGOs in Rivers State focusing on promoting good governance, service delivery and social peace in the State. The network is supported by the USAID/PIND and RTI.
